I discovered today that they used both T_27 Torx and 5/32 hex screws on the unit I received. Makes no since to mix the 2 different screw types when making this CNC.

DUH... I should have thought of the torx bit. Thanks, Bob

The screws require a torx bit also known as a star bit. A T-27 fits perfectly but is hard to find locally, you can find them on line. A T-25 will work but could round over the holes in the screws because they seem to be a little soft.

I was trying to tighten the router mount screw and none of my allen wrenches, metric or imperial, will fit the screw head.
what type and size tool is needed?
Working...
