  • Tool paths are running at a fraction of the actual size created in V-Carve

I am a new user to the Piranha FX and the V-Carve 9.5 desktop software. I created a practice project following one of the tutorials. I save the tool path files and load them to the LCD pennant, and proceed to run the first tool path. The tool path is running at a fraction of the size that the project was created. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone ever seen this happen before.

Sorry, I initially sent this as a "visitor" message somehow - go figure - Is it possible that you didn't set up the working parameters of the Piranha before you created the project? I'm just guessing, but I would think that having a "smaller" working area defined for the Piranha might cause something like this.. I personally have not seen this kind of problem, but I am still new to this CNC too.

Almost certainly you have not selected the correct post processor when you generated the .tap file.

Assuming you are working in inches - use the CNC Shark USB Arcs (inch) (*.tap).
