  • Using Touch Plate to Zero from top of spoil board

    I am new to this voo doo magic of CNC woodwork. Could someone please walk me through zeroing from the spoil board using the touch plate?

    Same proceedure as for the top of work. Place pad on spoil board. Accept what value it comes back with and it should read .625. .375 for thickness of plate and .250 for clearance. Download touchplate proceedure from NWA download page. Hope this helps.

      Check if your file has the bottom of the workplace checked. Program and touch off proceedure must be the same
